Welcome to StrideShow. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our presentation platform service operated by StrideShow ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StrideShow, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

StrideShow is a web-based presentation platform that allows users to:

  • Create and manage slideshows
  • Import presentations from Google Slides
  • Control presentations wirelessly from mobile devices
  • Display presentations on screens via web browser

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of StrideShow, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to StrideShow ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content:

  • Does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Does not contain unlawful, harmful, or offensive material
  • Complies with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use StrideShow to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Distribute malware or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable

6. Google Services Integration

If you choose to connect your Google account to StrideShow:

  • You authorize us to access your Google Slides and Drive data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You remain subject to Google's Terms of Service
  • You may revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings

7. Intellectual Property

The StrideShow service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by StrideShow and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

StrideShow is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding:

  • The reliability or availability of the service
  • The accuracy or completeness of any content
  • That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • That defects will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StrideShow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or technical failures
  • Unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StrideShow and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. You may also delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of StrideShow shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
